The First Furrow
The founder, Carlo Dibenedetto Sr., left the first, crucial mark on the time and soil of Contrada San Giorgio. It was the founding act: the idea took root. A slow dialogue between man and vine began, a patient work of art, like a rural aphorism by Wendell Berry.
1990
The Essence Revealed
The transformation is complete. Leaving behind the anonymous fluidity of bulk sales, the vision is captured in glass, finding its definitive form. Bottling is the declaration of identity, the moment when the wine becomes a story and presents itself to the world in its unrepeatable singularity.

The Temple of Matter
Philosophy finds its home in Contrada Tafuri. The construction of the winery is not just a building project, but the erection of a sanctuary dedicated to transformation, where gravity assists nature and the wine can mature in harmony, far from haste, like an essential work of Alvar Aalto.

Return to the Origins
In a gesture of profound respect for biodiversity and history, L’Archetipo becomes the guardian of plant memories. The revival of ancient Apulian varieties such as Maresco, Susumaniello, and Marchione affirms that the future lies in the roots, an act of resilience in tune with the wisdom of yesterday's farmers.

Archetipo establishes itself as a pioneer in sparkling wine production, capturing natural effervescence: it celebrates the circularity of time, where the bubbles capture and release the primordial energy of fermentation.
